We shorten the time from start to finish by focusing on treatment efficiencies. We use the most modern technological advances including the Damon System of braces and Suresmile (computer customized) wires. Dr. Wright uses these advances for very precise, controlled tooth movements that allow him to complete your treatment about 40% faster than if he uses traditional orthodontic mechanics. This means your braces can come off about 10 months sooner! (Average traditional orthodontic treatment is approximately 26 months in duration.)
Dr. Wright is a Board Certified Orthodontist and a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists. Currently, only 35% of orthodontists are board certified.
Board certification is a voluntary examination process accomplished after specialty training is completed. Dr. Wright successfully completed this rigorous testing in 2003 because he believes in continuously striving for excellence in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Wright’s passion is orthodontics. To him, continuing education is a necessity not a requirement. This is why our practice will remain at the forefront of orthodontics.
